im looking at buyin angel eyes and i was wondering wats the difference???
save ur money and dont bother....get some HIDs if u aint got them and fit them in ur standard headlights - self tint the internals if not already done.
output of angels is very questionable but if u must then the FKs are my personal preference....
Difference is basically just the design
I got some fks for my polo when i had it last year they dont seem any brighter, the side lights were led rings around the dip beam and about 4-5 leds had gone.
So it looked really stupid and there in a sealed unit and theres no way of replacing the leds well not in mine also they misted up not really bad but bad enough when youve paid 200 quid for them.
But when there were working they looked brill but is it worth the hassle?
Mike, do as I suggested above and self tint the chrome internals
not the reflective surfact obviously but just the chrome trim - its a popular mod and most ppl paint it black - i personally did mine the same colour as car but on yours the usual black would be ideal.
It breaks up all the chrome and adds a touch of class
Not the best pic but u can just make out the colour coded internals on this pic of mine: http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/vb...?do=big&p=1328
As you already have HIDs then they will go straight into the FK's so you wont need new bulbs as they use H7's, if you got ultra's you would need H1 bulbs. I love my FK's but the only prob I have with them is that the rings show 'hotspots' the whole ring lights up but you can see where the bulbs are as they show up brighter than the rest of the ring, pics of everyone elses dont show this but im sure I am not alone, that really does piss me off, appart from that I love them.
