Best hand polish for Yellow car?

    Hi all,

I have my girlfriends Saxo being left with me tomorrow and I want to get the panels matching! At the mo it is in about 3 different shades due to fading!

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on which polish to use, by hand, to get the yellow spot on? I am used to using Autoglym SPR followed by EGP, should this be enough?

    Thanks in advance!

T-cut could be worth a shot to get the colour back, then do it with the SRP and EGP (or just the EGP on top of T-cut)

Great idea, I didn't think of T-Cut, I have only used it once on a green car and wasn't pleased, but will give it a shot tomorrow!

TCut now comes in yellow as well... as opposed to the gold that was the closest shade you used to be able to get
    NOW - Sapphire Black 3dr Astra G

    THEN - Glacier White 2.0Di Estate - 136bhp 1.6 Pineapple Yellow Mk3 - Flame Red 2.0Di Van - Chianti Red 1.8 Coupe - Star Silver 2.2 Zafira - Flame Red 2.2 Linea Rossa Coupe - Titan Gold 1.8 Coupe

9 Years, 7 Astras, 1 Zafira, No Regrets.

    Nooooooooo,

T-Cut removes clearcoat but it is too abrasive and removes far too much. SRP would do it.

Cheers for that Gaz, luckily it was in time as they were out of yellow T-Cut and we were waiting for one to some to come in! But I am looking at PC's at the mo so I will most likely give it a detail before we sell it instead!

Keep an eye out for a multi coloured yellow saxo around Weymouth and you will understand how bad it is

    Thanks for the help

If it's reeally that ad then I'd say it'd be mild oxidisation. Instead of a PC, look at the Meg's G220, as it's 240v and will cost around the same price as importing a PC http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polish.../prod_414.html
