    This doesn't look right to me

    Hi there guys. I'm hopping someone out there might be able to help me out with this;

    It looks like some sort of valve and I think it's broken
    It lives next to the throttle body and is slightly tucked under the cross over pipe.
    Does anyone what it is, what it does and possibly a part/order number for it?
    The car feels slightly down on power, so I was wondering if this may have anything to do with the cause.

    Cheers you lot!

    I personally found I lost a lot of power with this broken just fitted a new one last week and what a difference- if the car doesn't feel like the boost is coming in propely at the moment that will be fixed once this part is replaced. I paid £15 with trade discount so not sure where someone paid £4 for one.... unless vauxhall just robbing my wallet as usual!!

    just noticed you live in Banstead as well i bought the part in Wilsons @ Epsom on wednesday and they had 2 left in stock. I'm sure you won't but if you need any help fitting give me a pm. otherwise just make sure you pick the deterioated end of the valve out of the hose before putting new bit in (sorry if this is very obvious- better safe than sorry!)

    It doesn't just snap as such on mine the plastic had completely rotted and detiroated inside the hose causing the valve to come apart
