    Matt's Astra SXI

This is just as I bought the car just under 4 years ago (22nd July 2004), with 40,000 miles on the clock.

That weekend I took it down to Devon. After driving a 1.1 106 for 2 years, it was such an improvement.

Then a couple of weeks later, I got round the fitting the install I had from my 106. This was only going to be a temp things, as I missed the bass.

Now, I made a big mistake in selling that Sony head unit, as the one I replaced it with, is absultely shite, and have had to put up with it for 2.5 years.

The new boot build was also put in place:

    During Installation

    Finished product:

(This is it in my old 106)

I then set about tinting the rear windows, as both my previous cars had the windows tinted also:

Went for Limo black on the rear quarters and the tail gate. I did this myself, and there were a few creases on the tail gate, but happy enough for the time being.

While I was at it, I also debadged the arse end.

And thats how it stayed for another year and a bit. We got our own place, which meant my money went elsewhere.

So, continuing on, it was then another year before I did anything else. So next up was a de-badged grill

I also got some eyebrows for my birthday. However, they were a crap fit, and also the paint I had made up at Halfords was a crap colour match.

It was then almost another year before I did anything else, and I eventually got the front windows tinted, and the tail gate re-done.

Also, on the way back from my Holiday, one of the eye brows decided it wanted to take a flying lesson....while doing 70mph on the motorway.

So, after that, I had the chance to get some smoked rear lights for a very good price.

Once they were in, the front stood out like a sore thumb, so again, a good price was agreed for some Smoked Headlights as well.

I then purchased a set of smoked side repeaters from LMF, and the smoked look was completed.

    Bee-Sting ariel now fitted:

    New exhaust fitted:
Twin Rolled in with slash cut - 76mm diameter.

Centre Section hasn't been fitted, as it was far too noisy, and the back box alone has a nice rumble to it.
