    When to stop modding?

    When should you stop modding?

Do you mod till its a show car?

Some cars you see at shows must be so modded that you would be scared to use them or leave them anywhere.

I am at the stage now where its pretty much finished BUT I can still leave it places and use it without worrying.

I think its down to what you want from the car, mine is always going to be my daily driver so now extreme power mods etc, but anything to help it go along better ie heated seats, 6 speed gearbox.

I agree with Andy. also if you need the car every day then stop before you feel you can not worry about where you leave it. But then saying that I worry about leaving a car anywhere regardless of it being modified or standard or any where in the country.

i worry about mine all the time and its still pretty stock. on the bright side if your good at declaring your mods a lot of them would be covered in the event of theft or damage anyway.

I plan to keep going until i'm happy i can do no more, if that takes the next 3 yrs then so be it. i didnt spent 4 grand on a car to get rid of it straight away

i think theres so many little things you can do every few weekends that it can be kinda cool to have a little list of tasks every few weeks, besides itd get boring if you did everything too quickly.

I guess i'll go until the mods become financially impractical, or something happens to the car.
