    Lowering Springs?

im wanting to lower the car onto the 17"s i've put on it, but all astras seem to sit lower at the back than the front especially on the 4 door. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions, i've heard people say go for a 35mm drop at the front and a 25mm drop at the back that kind of thing.

Also is there any springs i could get say off a gsi or a coupe that would do the same job?

    Thanks, Dan.

u dont mention which model u have - ie some models have lower than "lesser" model suspension from the factory.

Personally I would always time n time again recommend a decent 50mm drop on the front and 30-50 on the back.... a popular set of springs is Eibach in the 50/30 format (50F 30R) Personally I prefer to have the wheels tucked up in the rear arches like mine - ie 60mm all round - but each to their own.
See Garage pics <<< to see what i mean.

First of all find out what offset ur wheels are then we can determine the amount u can safely lower without any issues.

its the 1.6 8valve, 2002. the wheels are a 40 offset. 205/40/17. i prefer it to look same front and back, same distance between arches and wheels.
