    Question Window tint

I'm wanting to tint the rear 3 windows of my 3dr SRi but don't know what the legar requirements are. Also was wondering if it is worth trying my self or if i should just get someone expieranced to do it for me.

As its the rear 3 windows, there are no legal requirements for this so you can go limo black if you want. To be honest its pretty simple to do yourself, but if you want a mint job windows out, mite b worth taking to specialist.

what i did was to go on ebay and type in window tinting.... i found a guy in tipton ( 7 miles from me) who did my car for 120 quid and did an amazing job, within the first 2 days i did my drivers side window down and creased the tint film so i had to pull it off, took it back to him he onli charged me 20 quid to redo it.

i wudnt do it myself if you onli need the back 3 doing you mite get away with onli paying 90 ish quid , well worth it, considering the time and patience it takes!!

I did the job myself and it was a pice of pee to do the back two windows, there a quality job, i had to remove all the trim on the inner boot lid to get a good crack at e back window and it was a right bugger! I got it in the end, the whole window appart from around the rear brake light at the top is a great job but have some wrinkles at each corner of the light, a bit like crows feet! Will post some pics in a few days.
