    Which Fuse?

    Hello
    Hope someone can help.
I have a P reg Astra which is on it's last legs but I need to get to get to work.

Was pumping up the tyres with a pump that goes into the ciggie lighter but it then stopped working. Interior ciggie lighter light doesn't work so I'm guessing it's a blown fuse.

I have no manual for this car.

Icons on the fuse box cover don't seem to have anything remotely resembling a cig lighter.

Can anyone tell me which fuse it is (eg which number between 1-2.

When I get the tyres pumped up, I can then get to work tomorrow and take it to a garage to tell me what the funny yellow warning light is all about because it won't go away, and this doesn't look good either!

    Welcome mate

My haynes manual says it's fuse number 20 and it's a yellow 20 amp fuse

    Hello again
Many thanks for that - got that sorted.

However, in trying to find the right one before coming here, I suspect I've messed the one that works the reversing lights as now they don't work.

The radio doesn't work either - well it kind of does except that it just says SAFE and I haven't a clue what to do with it now - so that's up the creek!

I'm not doing very well here - just need to keep going for as long as possible until the pennies from heaven start to flow.

The reverse lights are on the same fuse mate, have you checked them since you put the fuse in

As for the radio it sounds like you removed the fuse to it and now it's coded so you have to enter the correct code to get it working again
