    3rd party wishbones...?

My mate likes curbs and decided to drive into one a few days ago in his coupe (blamed it on the ice)

We went to a wheel alignment place today and they basically said he needs a new lower suspension arm (wishbone)

lmf have quoted £170ish which seemed a bit much? there's some 3rd party manufacturer ones on ebay for around £30!? Are they safe????

probably copies shabz, assuming that the quality wont be anywhere near as good for that price,

has he rang round scrapies? or checked ebay for astra's breaking?

I would only go with a decent quality pattern wishbone, Delphi or Quinten Hazell for example ( we use these all the time at work ) when the early mondeo wishbone's were replaced reguarly we tried cheaper makes to save the customer money and ended up with the bushes falling out and ball joints lasting a year ! Not good for customer relations
