    1.7 CDTi - 5% BioDiesel 95% Diesel ok?

Hello Everyone, sorry to ask a question as soon as registering on the site, will have a look around in a minuite.

My question is, will i be able to run my 1.7 CDTi (100 bhp) in my 54 Plate Astra H on Biodiesel.

The fuel i am interested in is 5% Biodiesel 95% Fossil Diesel.

I would like to do so without having to change ANYTHING as i have absoultely no idea how to do anything inside this car!!!

Would it also affect my warranty (extended warranty due to buying it from network Q).

Help on this matter would be appreciated :-)

    Many thanks in advance.

5% bio is fine - any diesel you buy in mainland europe is 5% bio. Vauxhall say it's fine too.

Don't be tempted to run fuel with more than 5% bio content, though.

Ah rite. Can find literally NO information anywhere about the fuel (well being used in a 1.7 anyway. I found some about the 1.9's but from what i understand that is a fiat engine, and mine is completely differant???) or what fuel is on sale in the UK.

Just wanted to get a deffinate before i filled up with a tank to find i knackered several parts / the engine packs up. As the dealer said not to do it when i brought the car 3 months ago.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of differance will it make to economy etc?

Only making switch due to high fuel prices in my area, and offering of cheap diesel / biodiesel mix.
