    what do i need to do if im going to do the service my self? what should i check?

    basics- oil change(£30+), new oil filter(£12),you may also need washer/new sump plug (£5 for new plug,75p washer), pollen filter change if desired, spark plugs(£15+). sump plug can be fiddly to get off so worth buying spare one in case you have to use a bit of muscle on existing one!

    Hope this helps a bit you can get all these from your local vx dealer.

    I find it's cheaper to buy Genuine vauxhall service kits off Ebay, You will generally get the Air filter, Spark plugs, Oil filter, & Fuel filter & you will find it'll be cheaper than buying straight from your local dealer, All you'll need to buy then is some oil & a pollen filter if required.
