Hi is it just the front or rear ,or both if its both then i would say its a fuse , but if its just 1 then its has to be an earth or a brake in the live wire ,
nice to see someone else on here from boston what astra do you have ?

i put tinted headlights on mine and my drivers side headlight doesnt work
ive checked the bulb and it looked fine but im not 100% sure that its not blown.
i dont use my car so ive never really had a good look.
try swapping the L/R bulbs over.
i would try myself but the battery on the car is flat.

I would say its got to be a break in a wire you will have to do a probe test on the wires , have you tried a seperate earth to the bulb holder ?
Ive seen a green coupe around the town must be your's or is there more than 1 around here ?

You say in another thread you have had the dash out, did you undo the large bulkhead connector?

I drive a black ASTRA G 1.8 CDX Saloon , not many of these about at all so if you see one in boston that will be me ,
looks like you are going to have to chase the live wire back and check it with a probe

It may be that you bent a pin over plugging it back in. Norm29 managed to do that on his ZLET conversion
