    Resetting the ECU

    Ive had a look through the search option and every post seems to say something different. Some say disconnect the battery for half an hour, an hour 12 hours or 24 hours! How long would I really need to disconnect the battery for to reset the ECU?

    i done it and it liturally took me 5 minutes but it didnt completly resett it still had one light on the dash that wouldnt go out before i started the car... so everyone else recomends 30 minutes
