Lightbulb 2 way amp on 4 speakers

    Hi

This is my first post on here, I have a 2005 1.9 TDI SRI (150)

Im looking to put all my stereo equipment back into my car from my last car, its all Kicker and i have just got some kicker coxials to go in the back of the Astra but the trouble i have is in my old car i only ran front components and i have 2 amps a Kicker KX200.2 to run them and a Kicker KX600.4 to run the 2 12" subs.

As the amps cost alot of money and i have already just spent a fortune on sound deadening can i either run the front and backs off a way amp safely or should i run the backs off the headunit still as wont need to be as loud??

I was hoping to turn the stereo's internal amp off though really its an Alpine X001

    Any ideas would be appreciated

    Cheers

It looks to me like the KX200.2 can run at 2 ohms so running front and rear off the one output's fine

Cheers Autosparks I will do this then as seems better option than running rears off the headunit.

Question though as i dont have a clue? What difference does it make running 4 Ohm speakers at 2 Ohm's or 2 Ohm speakers at 4 Ohm's??

The speakers will still be 4 ohms but 2 connected to the same chanel will drop it overall to 2 ohms.

I believe it will just put a bit more load on the amp but like i say it looks like it's designed to do that anyway
