    Zaffy Owners

Just wondering what are your reasons for choosing a Zafira over other people carriers?

Cost mainly - hadn't even considered a Zaffy as on paper it looked just as expensive as a Touran, S-Max etc, which were better in terms of spec.

Then I got a 5 month old Bus with 1700 miles on the clock for 10995. Couldn't justify the extra 4-5k for my other choices (The Mrs wants a new kitchen and a conservatory).

It looks a bit nicer (in B guise) than a touran too.

I'm on my 2nd Zaf and the reason I chose them over any other people carrier was at the time the equivalent model was the old Galaxy/Sharan and they were ugly or renault or citroen are out of the question from a reliability point of view so the zafira won for me in looks, practicality (the seats fold flat into the floor) cost and moddableness. (Is that even a word?)

I chose the Zaf over the rest as I had a GM card and knew of the FDA, when I got to the dealers and they told me about partners it just got better. I did not want a GSi as I thought an SRi 2.2 would be fast enough. I got the GSi because for only £2000 more you got so much more safety features thrown in. Would have cost about £4500 to get those features on an SRi

Didn't want a large people carrier, and the GSi ticked most of the boxes ... performance, practicality, cost, looks, etc.

At the time the Zaf was a better driving MPV than most of what I tested.
Also the relatively narrow width in comparison to other MPV's was important as I travel alot of country lanes.

Another deciding factor was that at the time of purchase, there was no other 200Bhp MPV on the market.
