    Astra Vxr 2008

    Hey Guys,

Does anyone have a Astra VXR 2008 onwards. Just collected mine and the drivers seat doesnt have the same tip/slide function as the passenger seat. I though this was a bit odd so i asked my Vx dealer. They said it is a new safety function do discourage people from opening the road side door to let passengers into the back seat. It only seems they have taken this action on the 08 models.

If you have a VXR could you check yours to see what our seat does and let me know?!

Dont trust my dealer 100% to tell me the truth!

    Cheers
    Steven

mine is and 08 and it's the same mate yes. Doesn't bother me though cos i have the seat all the way back.

Also one thing, check inside your key fobs that you have the emergency door key (look in the manual to see what they look like) cos I found out last night that mine's are missing.

welcome to the site though mate

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

My 3 door 08, seat tilts forward and slide to let passengers in, cant see why the VXR would be any different!
