This months mods....and how the exteriors staying!

    Hey everyone.

Finally pulled my finger out this month and got the outside of the car how I want it on the outside.....just needs a good clean up now to get rid of all the scratches and swirls etc then i'll be happy!

    Anyway this months mods were......

GSI front bumper - Brought from Nasayr off here, a quick round trip to Luton and it was mine!

    Heres the old coupe bumper....

Heres the new one after being fitted.......

Irmscher Grill - Whilst picking up the bumper Nas offered me a Irmscher grill so I thought i'd be a fool not to get it as I am abit of a Irmscher Whore.

    Heres the old one....

    Then the new irmscher one....

Irmscher rear corner splitters - Brought from Londonmc off here and something I think finishes the rear off nicely!

    Before....

    After....

Excuse the tape but they were bonded and screwed on and that was just to ensure they stayed in place while they set.

My final mod of the month (so far. lol) and the one I needed my GSI bumper for was.....

Front Mount Intercooler - Brought it from Pablos a while ago and had it sat in my room for months now but there was no-way in hell it was gonna fit behind the coupe bumper so had to get the GSI front then the hoses from Rally design to get it all to fit.

Heres all the hoses and fittings I needed to get it on....

The standard set up with the side mounted cooler which is covered by the bumper...

With new intercooler balanced in place....

Heres the photos taken through fitting, loads of problems to try and overcome throughout but we managed it....

    All finished finally.....

Some pics after a quick clean....

My mate chris trying out his new cam...lol...

We started to get too many dog walkers and stuff appearing at that location though so decided to move on to another spot.....

I know the tyres look grey and when I do get time it'll get a proper detail with full correction and everything but this was just mainly to show off the new bits all fitted and clean.

Massive thanks to Nasayr for the GSI bumper, Londonmc for the splitters, Pablos for the intercooler...all top quality guys.

    Comments welcome!

I was actually thinking about this today.....Whenever I wash the car it seems to trap loads of water and constantly drip when ur trying to dry the car (right pain in the ***) was thinking do I wanna keep it or should I maybe lose it?!

Cheers Chris, im happy with how its looking now. It feels too pull abit harder with the intercooler and it sounds alot nicer now too. LOL @ the hairdresser comment!

looks good mate, but are you going to put any mesh in front of the IC at all? looks a little exposed like that, I'd hate for Bugs Bunny to become roadkill and total it...

I've got the proper honeycomb mesh in the boot so I can take it in and out whenever I need to, just thought it looked good for the pics with it showing off.

Thats my idea of a perfect cabby, i wanted the cabby turbo but my funds could only stretch to the coupe after owning a 1.6 cabby. Im very jealous mate, that is stunning!, only thing id change is the exhaust and id add black mesh to the front bumper.
