    V6 mk4

Right im starting with my conversion next weekend. But there is still a few things that are troubling me.
    • First of all i got ecotec v6 and a diesel gearbox f23 apparenlty. Was wondering if the drive shafts are going to fit my hubs i have a 1.8 16v sport with 5 stud hubs??
    • Hopefully i got the mounts covered as it came with them all ready.
    • The plug and play bit on both engines what bits does it work??
    • am i going to have problems with the imobiliser and alarm??
    • I got the ecu from the vectra hopefully??

Drive shafts are fine same size on the outer CV joint.

will the diesel gearbox f23 fit on the V6 ???? i dont know on that one

its not Plug and play on that engine same with Vectra Mounts might need to make your own ones

Vectra Ecu will run the engine
so your going to leave the astra ECU in place to run the Dash?
how dose your speedo work ?
cable on the gear box or wheel hub ? or is it a ABS pick up ?

the Vectra C 3.2 Engine mount may be an option for you, that hangs from the wing like the AstraG.

The Vectra V6 from 99 came with an F23 gearbox, are you sure it's not a V6 one? They are an easier fit.

Speedo is from the ABS so unaffected.

You'll need a pulse converter for the rev counter (see Dom on MIG)

Temperature gauge is driven by your ECU, so you need to leave that hooked up partly to run the temp gauge.

The wife has a 1.8 CDX I'd like to drop a 3.2 in once she's finished with it, so be nice to see how you get on.

Unless you got a 2.6, you'll need to convert back to cable throttle if you have the Z18XE (I have)
If it's the X18XE1, no problem.
