    Shawshank Redemption

I watched this for the first time this evening!

Have heard many times that it was a really good film, but never thought about investin the time to find out, until today! Popped into ASDA at lunch and saw it on the shelf and picked it up for a decent round figure of £3!

The read up on the back of the DVD case sounded good, so thought I'd finally give it a go, and I'm pleased I did, it really is a good watch!

It should have won an Oscar or something, storyline was epic. Could quite easily watch it again and not be bored.

One of the best films ever IMO, storyline is awesome and the acting is good as well.

If you like that try 'the last castle'.

I agree Morgan Freeman plays Red really well!

The whole script is fine work.

Am I right in thinking, one of the guys in that circle of inmates (Can't remember his name now!!) is Kernal Stuart form Die Hard?

Agreed, one of my favourite movies.

Another good one you may have seen or heard of starring Tim robbins is Jacobs Ladder, if you ain't seen it...another must

Amazing film!!! one of the nest ever and if i remember correctly when they released the 10th aniversary dvd in 2004 the film still hadn't broke even, which just seems crazy because its so popular!

One of the best and just shows Stephen King doesn't just write horror stories!
