    Pioneer HU and Mk5(07) astra??

Hello, i have read/searched forums but am still a little lost:

I have a p6900ib Pioneer headunit (the one the ipod connects too) and a 2007 astra sri 5dr.

What exactley will i need so that it works through my original speakers and can be controlled by the steering wheel controls?

(reason i'm stuck is the shops don't seem to tell me what mark/model the stuff is for and i don't want the wrong one...)

I also currently have, although it's the car's original headunit, "DisplaySafe" on the screen. Will this still be on there if i have a new headunit or will i be able to display some info from the new headunit?

Many thanks for any replies !!

All the information is in a sticky at the top of this forum

When I fitted one recently I used a Celsus adaptor that had the quadlock to ISO adaptor with built in steering wheel controls and also the aerial adaptor you need. I believe the part number was the ASC2801

There are obviously others avaiable but i'd steer clear of autoleads version
