    central locking control

I've spent hours trawling the web trying to locate the central locking control unit for an Astra H and can't find it anywhere.

I know on the G it was behind the kick panel in the drivers footwell, but there isn't one on the H.

Does anyone know where it is?

If you have the rear electronic module (fuse box in the back) it's built into that otherwise it's built into the fuse box under the bonnet

Sorry for being thick, but how do I get behind the dash? I used a torx to unscrew a couple of screws but then found it was nipped in by the light control panel, I tried pulling gently but figured I'd come on here to check before I ripped it off.

dont know if this helps, but with the vectras you can get the fuse box out and find the wire there as the loom runs behind the fuse box up to behind the dash

Got behind the dash and there's hardly a wire there.
Checked behind the glove box, a mass of wires but no 'boxes' or 'control units'.
Checked near the fuses in the boot - no control boxes there.
Anyone have any idea where I can find the unlock wire and the lock wire for the central locking?

I believe the only way of doing this will be neg pulse onto a brown/white wire at the switch on the dash. The same wire will be for lock and unlock so it could get mixed up. Otherwise it's what we call direct motor pulse at the control unit be it at the back or front

I take it your trying to fit a alarm? I wouldn't fit anything but a can bus alarm to a Astra H or Zafira B

Ah ok, it was a lights on delay kit where the fogs come on for 20 seconds when you lock and unlock the door. Obviously the wiring etc is much more advanced on the H than the G.
Thanks anyway, I'm sure I can find a cupboard somewhere to put it in.
