    Skiing Holiday?

Just been talking to my best mate about going on holiday this year and we wan't to do something different from the usual lads piss-up 18-30 ****e.

We both like the sound of going skiing as we've never done it before and sounds like alot of fun!

Anybody been? Would they reccemend it for a couple of lads in their mid 20's

Also wheres the best place to go? Is it possible to find one with an resort type place wheres theres bars/nightclub on site so we can have a few beers and look at a bit of skirt in the eveing?

    Cheers!

ive been snowboarding for a few yrs,and def recommend a bit of the old wintersports.

you might want to consider snowboarding,as its a bit easier to pick up in a short time, but depends.

good resorts for riding and partying-

    les arcs 1800 (france)
    val thorens (france)
    les duex alpes.

only downside of snowboarding/skiing,is the high costs, but its a blast!

skiing is quality, so long as you go to the right resort it can be good for any number of people/age. really good fun, i cant wait to go again.

For young peeps stuff the the best places are les deux alps and courchvell, les deux alps is very studenty and lots of bars and club, courchvell is more up market, lots of money about but the skiing is great and there are still loads of people in their 20's and 30's there. You can never go wrong with val d'sair one of my fav places but it comes with quite a hefty price tag. Got back from Courchvell 2 weeks ago I love it there.

    In order of preference:

    Val
    Courchvell
    Les Deux Alps

Your have a great time, ive been skiing every year since i was 9 and its the best thing. Ive been America a few times austria and france loads. I was in Courchvell for a week during xmass and its great skiing for beginners but i wouldnt suggest it for a lads holiday Extremely expensive.. especially at 1850.. One bar called Piggys was 12 euros for just under a pint, least expensive bottle of wine 400 euros, most expensive 13,000! and it was my round so we left very quickly. May i suggest Austria as the night life in most resorts tends to be better then France and 7/10 has great snow.

The best thing is hobbling over to the bus stop after which requires you to walk (run if snow cannons are on) about 50 meters! so funny. I WALKED the roads from 1850 to 1600 on my final night, It was too cold lol
