    New Mitsubishi Lancer Launch - pics included

    I attended an industry launch of the all new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X at Prodrive, Warwick yesterday.

    I got to drive the new Evo in all its 3 power formats in different scenarios;

    - Track
    - Skidpan
    - Close control/road rally

    Capable car, toned down somewhat...purists will probably not enjoy the car then previous models. Alot of technology too like ACD, AYD, S-AWC, ASC, SPORT ABS etc..

    One car was crashed, but no pictures....and the culprit was a police buyer.

    Not keen on the looks of that, just looks like it is lacking something.

    Bet it is more than cabable in the performance and handling department though

    reminds me of a Volvo v50 front end with strong Alfa Romeo touches at the rear.

    SST gearbox was as quick as the manual, but took some of the driving experience away, even with the paddle shifts.
