    Spacers for Alloys...

Getting myself a set of 17" turbo rims @ the weekend...

Currently rolling on standard 16" Ghey alloys...

I have noticed the current alloys sit quite far back inside the arches!?
Can anybody recommend and decent wheel spacers/size to use?! Will the set down at halfords thats about £20 and is about 10mm do the trick?

Whats the crack with wheel spacers?

well the standard turbo rims are ET47 - a 10mm spacer will in effect make them 37 - i think! always get confused here lol

Youd need to check the offset of ur current rimmage before u whack on a spacer

With spacers buddy if your going with more than 6-8 mm i would strongly suggest using hubcentric spacers.

The multifitment standard spacers will give you a large amount of vibration at higher speeds, and you will be able to feel your handling being much poorer.

Also with a 10mm spacer you may have to consider longer bolts.

any other questions gimme a pm...more than happy to help a fellow sport member!!
