    Dump Valve for my z20let astra sri.

    hi, just bought an astra sri 02 plate turbo. im lookin to put a dump valve on it, which is the best? links please! also, can u fit the dump valve without chopping into the intercooler pipe? cheers in advance.

    Most popular one is the Baileys DV26-D, but there are other ones that work. Have a search mate as hundreds of post about them

    You need to chop into the boost pipe, or buy a metal boost pipe that has a DV outlet built into it.

    As probably must will say on this forum........ avoid the aftermarket dump valve like the plague!!!! I learn this from experience, stick with the standard OE dump valve

    one word. Dont. if u want the noise, then buy an induction, u loose some power and fuel consumption drops through the floor,lol

    each to their own. some have no probs with them fitted some do. if you do fit one leave the o/e valve connected. makes the dump quieter but will prob have no running issues

    yeah, we've had a few in at work, and i only want it for the sound, just not keen on chopping into the boost pipe really lol.

    both myself and zafgsi have the same set up and not loss any power.. deff keep OE connected tho.. slightly quieter but safer too IMO

    if u want the sound then go down the induction route, a lot of guys run apexi's. yeah u may loose a ickle power and go through fuel like no 2moz, but dont half put a grin on ya face

    any links to websites that sell the hard boost pipe with the hole for the dump valve already there?

    i took BMC CDA off on sat and ran open filter..



    sound = amazing




    grin on face = class




    petrol consumption = overdraft!



    BMC CDA back on = quieter but bank manager likes me again!
