    Removing handbrake gaiter?

    Hi all,

Basically I am in the process of replacing the gaiters because they are a bit worn. I have removed the gear gaiter so that is no problem. However, I can't find a way to remove the handbrake gaiter? I don't want to pull too hard, because obviously the plastic surround underneath the gaiter can easily break.

    Any tips?

    Thanks.

From what I remember is a case of grabbing the leather at the back of the break and pulling it foreword while plying it with a screw driver at the back
Or is that the Corsa's Give it a go. If you do break anything then its a £1.50 job from the scrappers.
Hell I got an AirBox mount for free this morning For little bits they normlay don't charge ya.

Remove the cover under the handbrake as there is a screw under there.

Then you need to unclip it from the centre console

Come on it was from 2008
Seriously though it wasn't easy to remove without breaking things, so some people might find it useful.
