welli would say that its on its way out now when you drive along you can feel the Boost come and Go on and off thats life just need to hurry up and get them VXR ones in now as i am in need of one of them
nots so good danney it sounds expensive
slightly tweeked zaffy gsi. vxr turbo. scorpian precat. scorpian 200 cel sports cat. miltek cat back sytem. lowered on jom coilovers. 18" lxy haines
fitting the turbo is a real bitch, it would be easy if the manifold bolts didnt snap off inside the head :/
also remove the actuator before you install or take out the turbo.
dont need to ^^ sounds like the Boost control solenoid causing that surging. Cheaper than buying the turbo.
Quick tip, when undoing the headstuds, i snapped mine around. Dont use a long bar and put loadsa pressure on the nuts. Normall sized ratchet and wack it with the palm of your hand. I never even used WD40! All mine came out no problems. Lots of progressive pressure will just cause them to possibly snap off. Wack Un Crack um.
The hardest part about getting the turbo off is undoing the feed pipes! Ok I admit its abit tight, but it can be done easy enough. Did mine earlier this week :P

I had something similar to this, the boost was sort of pulsing, mine turned out to be a cracked exhaust manifold. New VXR Turbo sorted this though.
