    Retro fitting climate control

    anyone retro fitted climate control on a MK4? Had a search but cant find anything?

    has been done but doner car is the best way to do it

    Ive fitted it to a coupe, i fitted the complete heater box and controls, and the full dash loom, theres a thread on here someware, it was a coupe shell what i had, and i fitted a 2.0 dti engine into it, and got slated off all the petrol heads

    Why?

    Opel Astra Coupe and Cabriolet came with 2.0 DTI and 2.2 DTI engines.

    Maybe they've wised up to the Fuel price sooner across the Channel.

    Fit a 1.9 150 bhp CDTi engine and that would be worth while once mapped to 200 bhp and over 300 lf/ft of torque.
