    Power to the wheels

Iv got an 04 1.8 coupe..one thing iv noticed about it is that when you go to lay down a bit of power it seems to take ages to grip, on a wet road it sometimes spins in 3rd! Can be annoying sometimes lol especialy of the lights

    Anyone else notice this?

Bad tracking or hard compound tyres don't help.

Throttle Control, or leave the TC on should cope fine.

i cant see you spining the wheels in third unless your going around a corner tight so the weight beocmes very little on one wheel! The traction control should take control and stop it easpecially in third but if it aint then there could be a fault with the traction control!
