    Unhappy Insurance Advice

i drive a astra sport 1.6 16 v and was insured with enslegh untill i declaired a back box and there refused to insure me and i am currently looking for another company to insure me, I have tried adrian flux and was quoted £831 paying monthly. Does any one have any advice? i was only paying 580 with enslegh untill i mentioned wanting a back box, its now costing me 250 more insurance lol

How come £831 too as i drive the lowest spec astra, people with GSI have lower quotes haha i am 21 with 3rs No claims

Insurance is a wierd thing, will prob be a different quote every time you ring and there are so many varying factors to take into account.
Adrian Flux specialise in performance cars and 4x4's so thats why they are able to give good quotes to the likes of us Turbo owners.

Try your old company again but dont declare the back box.

Then again I had a 1.6 astra insured with direct line for £600 with no ncb
    I'm after another Coupe Turbo

Have you tried any of the admiral group (Elephant, Bell, Admiral) it cost me 40quid to put a back box on my old car! they seem to be one of the cheapest insurance companies around too.
