    Phase 3.5

    Hey guys

I'll be able to go to phase 3.5 in March but need a couple of questions answered.

What sort of power figures are you running on 3.5? I've seen people hitting over 300bhp on 3.5, is this from the generic map alone or has the map been tweaked?

How many of you are still on the standard clutch? Have you had issues with it slipping straight away once running 3.5 or can it live with it?

What gear do you actualy get traction in?

    Cheers chaps

Hi mate, i've got a 3.5 and didn't hit 300 BHP.... Mainly this is due to my clutch slipping on the rollers and down to my engine getting old. Mines done 53k of well cained miles......

But its the best thing i've ever done to a motor, its pretty quick. Most cars dont have a chance when my clutch holds if not I eat humble pie and pull in lol.

As for wheel spin, this weather is pretty bad for any car unless your a 4WD scoob.... But the good thing about the EDS maps is they are very good at part throttle, so your find your have to start with less right foot and slowly build it up rather than just gunning it and wheel spinning because it can light those wheels up without a problem if your too harsh.

I'm having quaife installed soon though with a sach clutch which will help so much....

Ashford motorsport but they ship the gearbox to quaife themselves, who better to fit it than the people that make it?

    They also use EDS maps

Its the way people choose to get there wayne, you can't just goto phase 3.5 and expect to reach 300 some very lucky people have but I bet after a few months it wont be there.

To get over 300 brake you need a good engine, cams and exhaust manifold... Ideally a hybrid VXR turbo to aim for 340ish where i'm heading for... That'll do for me then, well maybe... I'd like one of those diablas intake manifolds too
