    Sorry for the question but what is postal order and what is the steps for doing it?

    postal order is basically a cheque issued by the "post office" which is guaranteed funds to the person its payable to,
    can only be bought from post offices in the UK.

    Postal Orders can be bought and cashed at any Post Office™ branch, can be cashed in 47 countries worldwide (see below) plus many countries also sell British Postal Orders so you can send money home easily and securely when you're abroad and you don't even have to have a bank account.

    thanks alot Ffoeg, I checked the site , Egypt is not listed there too.

    Never thought that sending money is that difficult.

    Can you not just do wire transfer? - its pretty common for moving money to a foreign bank.

    your bank should be able to tell you all about it

    It's bank account to account transfer. it's available here , but I didn't see ebay sellers that offer bank transfer.

    I've used them when buying things from foreign ebays (germany usually)

    As long as it's a proper company you're buying from and not a private individual, they might help you.

    most UK ones won't list wire transfer as a form as payment, as they usually sell to folk in europe or the US etc.

    give them an email and explain the situation, and see what they say
