    Crossover pipe

    2 questions here

1: What methof have people used to polish they're cross over pipes, had a look n the tutorials section but there's nothing

2: Does anyone run a different style of crossover? such as just a round bore? or is it easier/better to just go for the 2.2 set-up?

I'd still like to know how to get a good result from polishing it though, as the black stuff looks a bit of a bitch to remove

    cheers

Well use Nitromors to get the black crap off. Once that is done i have been told that using wet and dry gradually getting finer will give a good result. However this looks like quite a long process to me so i got some etching primer and sprayed mine silver
Im having someone look at my spare pipes atm to see if they can polish them up for me.

I dont think a round pipe will be any good as it will hit the bonnet.
People will suggest the 2.2 mod but personally i like the look of the crossover pipe

would the heat of the engine bay affect the chrome finish? or is it more of a showing piece
