    problem when boosting

i had regal phase 3.5 done last friday and yesturday on the way home from work i would not boost right....

it boost up fine but then cuts the boost back in to vacuum then holds at about 10 psi if that.... the boost guage is going nuts

i did notice that i has a slight split at the end of one the hose that connects to the fpr b4 this problem happened so i am thinking that maybe the car is no over boosting too much and the ecu is holding it back

also regal did say that my actuator was a bit week but WAS holding boost at the time

    any ideas would be great...

First like you said check your boost pipes and vaccum hoses for leaks and splits, if not put some preload on your actuator like a full turn, just remember to mark with a bit of touch up paint where it was set to before just in case you need to move it back. failing that it could be the boost selonoid's causing you trouble (one on top of turbo other at back of engine)
