    Mine is 02 as well so I think I mite invest in a new pollen filter too.

    Did you buy it from Vauxhall??
    Have you got a part number/price??

    Pain in the backside to get the new one back in isn't it?!!! Had great fun when I did mine year before last! I've had a new one sitting here for 6 months now that I haven't got round to fitting!!!

    You have to take the glovebox out and its behind that, on the right hand side. Think its one screw that holds in a vertical rectangular flap, unscrew it and think the flap lifts up or opens to one side.
