    My next little mod

Well after the intial wave of small mods and fixups i tackled my MFD this weekend.

Since i bought the car its been knackered, with lines of display missing- so i bought a replacement MFD off ebay for 15 quid.

When it arrived i was delighted to discover it had a white diffuser, so i figured while i had to replace it i may as well change the LED colour.

I bought some white LEDs, and after an afternoon of fiddling and wrestling with my centre console, heres the result-

this was taken in the daylight, and its nice and bright without having any hotspots.

Subtle but effective i think.. what do you guys reckon? (and thx to those who helped me out with the centre console in my other thread )

i cant guarantee, but i think its a straight swap between the orange and white ones, but you've got first dibs.

PM me your address and i'll sort it out during this week

the mod turned out better than i could have hoped for, looks even better in the dark had a bit of a panic for 10 mins though as i thought i'd dropped a torx screw behind the centre console and into the bowels of the car!!
