Car smoking, wierd sound and ECU light

As in title after i drive the car either for a while or fast i get a smell of burning and a small amount of smoke from under the bonnet. I guess this has somthing to do with the fact that the ECU light is on. I tried to do the paper clip test and all i get is a non-stop flashing of the ECU light. I tried to change spark plugs as my dad said it sounded like it was only firing on 2 cylinders. I managed to swap 3 ok however 1 seems to have had its sides grounded down so i cant twist it out like the others.

    1. Any ideas on what is wrong
    2. How would i be able to get that last spark plug out to swap now i've started

I've already emailed admins to delete the second account as it was confusing as hell different computers would log onto different usernames so it was pissin me aswell as everyone else off. I prefer this user and all my other posts are going to be deleted off my last user. Sorry for the confusion lol.

Well, most of the stuff I've heard of / read is a bit Bodgit & Scarper-esque! I have heard of using the following method, but nothing you try would be without risk! Be warned!!

Get a long reach socket 1mm smaller than the plug hex.
Put a little penetrating fluid down the bore. Leave it overnight.
Next day, run the engine for a few mins. Aluminium expands faster than steel / iron, so it'll make the plug hole a tiny bit looser.
Get your socket and force it onto the plug hex. Gently try to ease the plug out using your favorite ratchet / breaker bar.

Please be aware this is a somewhat destructive way of doing it, and you might end up having to take the head off ultimately. If it was me, I'd be letting a garage do it.

Truthfully, I dunno. Depends on what they have to do to get it out. If they can remove it without whipping the head off... £75 give or take? If they have to have the head off, probably a fair bit more!

Best to ask your garage of choice for an estimate.
