    alloy repairs in bristol area

    Anyone know anywhere good and cheap to refurb alloys...... me being a bad (new) driver kerbed my alloys when i was on my old car.

    want to put them on my astra along with some more grippy tires, but don't want it to look like its been mangled! want the alloys to look semi presentable

    anyone know a good place round the bristol area??

    I too would like to know this as I kerbed mine the other week
    Slid into the corner I was taking and scraped them

    I thought cars were supposed to slide out of a turn

    I have a good place, it's down on muller road by the alamo car hire centre, i think it's called auto cosmetic.
    But i had my new alloys refurbed there, they charged me £45 a wheel, and that's when the wheels were kerbed all over and battered.
    But i expect if it isn't too much damage then they can do it for less, but that is a place i would recommend

    Failing that there's more likely than not going to be a Chips Away near you that can do it

    Here's the address for anyone wanting it;
    Auto Cosmetic Centre,
    248 Muller Road
    Horfield,
    Bristol

    I think they did a really good job, if you go and get a quote, i expect you can get the price down a bit.
