Does having excess wiring, i.e. for power and RCA's effect sound quality?
I've got 6m of 4 gauge power cable, but reckon I will only need about 4.5m if running down the drivers side, or about 3m if running it down the passenger side.
The RCA's are 5m in length and reckon I will need about 3-3.5m of it going down either side of the car. Same for the remote turn on wire.
Speaker cables not a problem, can cut and chop that okay - Think I will need around 2.5m each side.
My main concern is the power cable and RCA's - I understand that the earth cable should be as short as possible
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated
