As the car was minging and today saw perfect detailing weather, i thought i'd go and give the car a quick detail. This is how the car stood at 10 this morning:
I washed with CG Maxi Suds II, using 2 buckets and a megs lambswool washmitt, did the wheels with CG Premuim Blue Wheel Cleaner diluted 1:1 and a Zymol wheel brush.
After it was all clean I dried the car with a Sonus Der Wunder drying towel, then decided to test a new product I bought ready for my new car. The product in question is ClearKote Red Moose Machine Glaze. I used it with a Sonus DAS green polishing pad on the UDM, on speed setting 4, then buffed off with a Sonus Der Wunder buffing cloth. The results were fantastic, I've never seen gloss like it on my car. After doing the whole car with it, I had to choose which wax to put on. I like using Collinite 476s because of the durability it has, but I didn't want to dull down the shine that the glaze had given the car, so I decided on some Natty's Red wax, which gave the car extra depth.
At 2 this afternoon, when I finished, I went to my fave picture spots, here are the results:
I love these last two pictures as there's that much reflection that you can hardly make out where the car ends:
I'm really chuffed with the results, and would recommend the ClearKote glaze to anyone who has a PC/UDM/G220 etc.
As always, you opinions are more than welcome
