    help needed please!!

hi drove my car around all day and headlights and everything worked fine but went out to it tonight and i had no main beam for some reason, I have side lights and high beam and the flashes work fine but just no main beam. Going to check all the fuses properly in the light tomorrow so does anyone know which is the fuse for the main beam please and if it doesn't happen to be the fuse then has anyone else got any other ideas please as it seems highly unlikely that both bulbs would have blown at exactly the same time doesn't it. Thanks

Well there's a fuse is seperate for the left and right so unless either both fuses or both bulbs have gone it's probably going to be a faulty swicth
