it is possible but requries a massive amount of work as you would have to fit dozens of sensors, and becuase of this i dont think anyone has actually ever done it (unless they are fitting an engine which comes with one as standard)

    Lightbulb scan gauge

there is an alternative and im not sure but i think ffoeg has it in sweet ass motor!!! its the scan gauge, pretty much the same thing as a trip comp bar the fuel consumption and few other things i think, ffoeg will correct me on that. you can light it yellow to match the opel(vx) interior lights and all.
i would if i could but i cant (be arsed)
    maybe I can....clicky ......now sold !

    • Maximum Speed
    • Average Speed
    • Maximum Coolant Temperature
    • Maximum RPM
    • Driving Time
    • Driving Distance
    • Fuel Used
    • Trip Fuel Economy
    • Distance to Empty

It also give you 12 digital gauges and can read fault codes too.

very nice, i like, might have to order one of those, i read in another post that it does american mpg which would be different to ours, is this true? and its just fits into the connection under the handbrake to work? no sensors to install?

Mines the US version reading in US gallons, so I just leave it in litres and it works fine. IIRC UKOBD do a UK version so it might be in imperial gallons (mot 100% sure on that tho) - phone them up an speak to Gareth: he's a top bloke and will defo help you all he can.

And yeah, it plugs into the OBD port under the handbrake - hence the 3 mins fitting time

That centre console...has it been resprayed? i have a beige interior coupe and my centre console is scratched more times than my coin purse, so i was wondering if i got the colour code like yours (if you didnt mind) i'd respray mine too the same colour as yours, like the new gauges...sweet, you have the matching black dials yeah?

Yeah it's been sprayed (by me) in Vauxhall Titanium. I've no idea on the paint code tho, as I just pick the tins up off the shelf . It's acrylic paint made by Hycote, and most car spare places should be able to get you some.

I did have white dials originally, but I swapped them for back ones so they'd tie in with the gauges and heater controls
