    Rear caliper holder bolt????

    hi all,

went to change my rear discs yesterday, but im not sure what type of bolt head it is holding them on?

its a astra g, once you remove the caplier, the caliper holder thing is held on by two bolts near the suspension strut, but they wernt ordinary hexagonal bot heads, they were like a star shape but not?

    any ideas?

you can buy the socket in halfords but you can just use a normal hex socket on it and will do the same thing....but personally i would buy the correct tool for the job

Get yourself a set of TORX sockets - Astra-G/H have a considerable number, different sizes - it'll cost less than the labour you're saving on pad changes.

trust me dont use a normal socket, its either a E20 or E18 bit you need ( I think its the E20)
