    New company for Big Brakes

Hey all, as some of you may remeber i posted up here about big brakes i now have the pictures and spec of the brakes as requested.
The brakes are all ready in use with TVR racing, the Lancia Delta Owners Group also use them on some of their cars, they also have a future featuer in classic sports car mag, and i will be getting them for my car soon. Hope the info supplied is good enough for you all.
If you are interested please put your name and car details at the end of this thread.

here is a picture of the 4 pot calipers

here is a picture of the 4 and 6 pot calipers in different sizes

Here are the specs for the caliper and what they will fit

4 pot calipers fit 280 mm + dia disc, disc width 20-26 mm, piston dia's 38.6 mm from £599.25 inc VAT *

    6 pot caliper fit 280 mm + dia disc, disc width 20-32 mm, piston dia's 27, 27, 31.2 mm from £599.25 inc VAT *

    * prices are based on the smallest sizes they do, disc dia and width varies with the size of the caliper you choose and the size discs you want them to fit

all calipers are made to order hence the get interest first to give him a warning the calipers come with mounting brackets for the car so if will be bolt on and go enjoy the stopping power

    thanks for your time

p.s. no commitment just interest at the moment

If that's a price for calipers only and no pads, lines or mounting brackets then I'm sorry but they are of little use and are expensive!

The braket are the hard bits to get designed and made.

Why are they not any seals showing on the pistons? Pretty looking calipers but there are a lot of questions that need to be asked. Would need to see them fitted to a car in the flesh to make any real decisions. Sure they are
good but as like any product they need scrutinising and testing for long life etc

It may seem puny when there are so many large brake set ups available, but think of the number of cars that a 280mm will fit. Far more than the big kits. If you had a 280mm set up on they would pull up far better than the standard VXR 321mm floating setup
