Just a quick question i have a car that i took off the road about 6 months ago but now want to put it back on
Is it just a case of retaxing it, it has MOT but would i have to get a new one when it goes back on the road?

You'll need a valid MOT certificate to tax your car .

But yes you need valid MOT, insurance then get your tax. Have a look at the DVLA website for information about getting a sorn'd car back on the road.

If its MOT is still valid, then take the certificate and your proof of insurance to the post office and you can tax it
