    Advice on spraying - got the equipment just dont have the knowledge.

    Hi all, i want learn to spray but im not sure where to start. i kind of know how to prep a car and do most bodywork but iv got no idea where to start when spraying. Is there a guide anywhere on aoc or can any1 tell what i need to do?

    Iv got access to all the equipment in my mates garage but we dont know how to spray.

    Always start on something small, like your centre console or something and see how that goes.

    I think it's something you teach yourself through practice. Worth a trip to the scrappy imo.

    I went to collage for 2 years, I now work in a bodyshop and TBH ive learnt more being there than i ever did at collage.

    Main things to remember are

    Good prep - it will always show up on the final finish.
    Good equipment - cheap stuff is a waste of space as it gives a naff finish ( imo anyway)
    Take your time and dont rush

    Also remembering good saftey as the paints that are out there some are leathal.

    As stated above best to try on something scrap or small first and just practice.
