Right well a busy weekend this week.
First task was to pick up the new car. Seeing as the VXR is sold and goes away tomorow I thought it time to look for a replacement.
So a random call from Turodave during the wek "haw neighbur, want a Vectra", promtly followed by "aye". and plans were set to pick up another Vectra. This particular car is a 99-T Vectra 2.5 V6 artic, 4 previous owners and only 68k ont he clock. Shell is immaculate with not a bit of rust on it:
Turbodave decides that he was up far too early for a Saturday and needs a nap
Back at base
I decided it was probably a good idea to give the Vectra a quick service as it wasnt known when it was last done.
I struggled finding the filter, and when I did it was a little tight to get to, so I had to make some way to access it....................so I cut the front off it
Nex up I decided to get the car sign written, however these vinyl companies cost a fortune, so I improvised with a chisel
From there I decided to take some inspiration from Lord Nikon and see just how low I could get the car without having to resrt to airbgs. I think I succedded quite well. As it was warm I decided to add to the aircon at the same time
Not bad for 4 hours work
and gracious shot of Turbodaves new run-around
