    Is it possible by hand?

Is it possible to remove swirl marks by hand with good quality products?

    They are light swirl marks!

A clay bar will NOT remove swirl marks from the paint, all it does is remove bonded contaminants (Bird lime, fallout) from the paintwork, leaving with a clean surface to polish.

To take out light swirls, T-CUT would do it, but I personally advise against using it as it's very harsh with the clearcoat. Try using Auto Glym Super Resin Polish, it contains minor abrasives and fillers and will temporarily remove light swirls from sight.

But to take them all out, you'll need to use a machine with a good cutting polish such as SSR or Menzerna

I didnt say it would remove them, i said 'try a clay bar' They clean the dirt which lays in the crevases which appear as swirls, making 'swirls' less visibile

If you want to remove them then the best way is obviously a PC, but by hand try products such as Megs Stage 1 Deep Crystal Paint cleaner.

I would avoid TCUT like the plague to remove swirls as it its meant for small scratches not really whole cars.

    Personally i'd use...

    1) Megs Clay to remove most of the residue
    2) Megs Stage1 all over the car
    3) Megs scratch X for any deep scratches or blemishes
    4) then a coat of Auto Glym Super Resin
