    query about cat stabilising for mot

    just come back from mot and m8 said he had trouble stabilising the cat its passed noe but wondere why could it lambda sensor as he did say 1 of them was ok the other the voltage kept going up and down or could it be the sports cat thats on it

    after i fitted my sports cat i tried the emissions just to see.
    it passed no probs but did need the cat up to temp which took longer than with the standard cat. bear in mind thet there are less cells(200cpi) trying to convert the gasses than the standard cat(400cpi)

    he got it o hot im surprised it werent lowing red but got it through just a bit concerned as he said 1 lambda the voltage was constant the other was going up and down
