    how much to lower by??

    hey guys just wanna see if any of u guys could tel me what would look best on my car i.e 'how low should i go' lol i wanna get over speed bumps but wanna make the handling better and make the car look lower obviusly lol heres a piccy of me car soo far, dnt rinse it too much . cheers

    cant c the pic due!!... 30-40 all round is decent enough drop.. ul notice the handaling and ul still be able to get over the pesky humps!!

    I have mine dropped 50mm on 18"s and speed bumps are never a problem just have to be carefull when parking face onto kerbs.

    I had no bother with my Mk4 lowered 55mm. Otherwise standard SXi spec. Handled superbly, and wasn't too uncomfortable.

    Mine is only lowered F 35mm & rear 20mm. I did notice an improvement in the handling but you may want yours a lot lower for aesthetics

    mine's 30/30 on Eibach's and is brill, doesn't look higher at one end and handles really well.

    60mm all round wit "18... rubs sometimes.. like over speed bumps... and yes curbs are not nice.. got to get spliter re sprayed thaks to a very friendly curb!

    if you aint scrubbing you aint dubbing! seriously with a reasonable wheel size you can really drop astras with no real problems.

    mines on coilovers and the fronts are as low as possible, with the rears about midway to make the car level.

    the front must be down about 70-80mm easily on 17" and ive only really had a problem when on severe bumps and curbs. most speed bumps are fine
